Awards and Bursaries for FE.
'SCAST' (set up after the OFT investigation into fee levels) gives financial assistance to qualifying OBs to pursue courses in HE or other educational projects after leaving. Details on their web site. Closing date 23rd June.

National Schools Regatta
Sadly, high winds and sinking conditions caused 2 of the 3 days of the Regatta to be abandoned.Only the U14 and U15 1st boat were able to complete their events, and all these crews performed very well in the difficult conditions.

Tickets are selling quickly for this event priced at £55 each; tables up to 10 may be booked. Deadline for ticket sales is Fri 23 May so if planning to attend book now to avoid disappointment. Energy Saving PCs
We are beginning to work with a program which will switch PCs in IT Suites (B7, S11 etc) off after 15mins of inactivity. (Thanks to Ricki Anand for the research.)
